Situation: Wave Money leadership team faced the challenge of pivoting a small team's focus from a Consumer P2P App to conceptualizing Myanmar's groundbreaking Super App.

Task: The goal was to create a Financial Services & Lifestyle Super App that would significantly increase user adoption and engagement, identifying new revenue streams and validating the app's potential.

Action:

  • Design Thinking: Conducted strategic workshops using Human-Centric Design Thinking to formulate a visionary blueprint.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborated with key stakeholders and partners to refine the app concept.

  • Research Methodologies: Utilized quantitative and qualitative research, including ethnographic studies, to gather deep user insights.

  • Business Model Canvas: Applied the Business Model Canvas to identify and validate revenue streams.

  • Agile Methodologies: Adopted Agile methodologies to iteratively develop and test app features, ensuring rapid iterations based on user feedback.
